Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Live Wildly ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). We built Live Wildly to be a private, thoughtful space, and we treat your information with that same care.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign in through a third-party provider (such as Google), we receive basic profile information the provider shares with us.

Assessment responses

When you take the Live Wildly Assessment, we collect your answers so we can generate your personalized reflection, RESET pathway, and ongoing guidance. Your responses are stored against your account and are not shared with other members.

Journal entries and uploaded images

When you write a journal entry, upload a photograph of a handwritten page, or record audio, we store that content so you can revisit it and so our AI can produce reflections in response. Handwritten pages are processed to extract the text you wrote; the resulting text is treated with the same care as any other journal entry.

Voice recordings and transcription

If you record audio inside the Service, we store the recording and a transcription of it. The transcription is generated by a trusted AI processor solely to produce your reflection; the audio is not used to train third-party models.

AI-generated reflections and guidance

To produce your reflections, RESET plan, and Companion guidance, we send the relevant portions of your assessment, journal, and prior guidance to AI processors we have contracted with. These processors are contractually prohibited from using your content to train their models. The reflections we generate are stored in your account.

Subscription and payment information

If you purchase a Companion membership, our payment processor collects the information necessary to process the transaction (name, billing address, and card details). We do not store your full payment card details on our servers; we retain a token, the last four digits, and your subscription status.

Usage information, analytics, and cookies

We collect standard log information (IP address, browser, device, pages visited, and timestamps) to keep the Service secure and to understand how it is used. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to measure aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Email communications

We send you transactional emails (account, security, and subscription notices) and, with your consent, occasional editorial emails from Live Wildly. You can unsubscribe from editorial emails at any time; transactional emails are required to operate the Service.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Generate your personalized reflections, RESET pathway, and Companion guidance;
• Process subscriptions, billing, and refunds;
• Communicate with you about your account and, where permitted, editorial updates;
• Protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
• Comply with our legal obligations.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers who make Live Wildly possible — including our hosting, database, authentication, AI, email, and payments providers — and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services under contract with us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our members.

4. AI processing

Live Wildly uses artificial intelligence to generate reflections and guidance. The content you provide (assessment answers, journal entries, transcribed audio) is sent to AI processors under contracts that prohibit them from using your content to train their models. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and is provided for reflection only; see our Terms of Service for the full statement on educational use.

5. Data retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see below). We may retain limited records (such as billing history and security logs) for the period required by law after your account is closed.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, or to request deletion of your account, contact us at the address in the Contact section below. We will respond within a reasonable time and consistent with applicable law.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Live Wildly is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the Service.
